The work

Sarah’s passion for throwing is aparrent
in her work. Almost all objects are initially thrown and afterwards
distorted as necessary. Some pieces such as the women’s torsos are
compilations of several separately thrown parts.
The objects are made from stoneware clay and are decorated with body stains and clay slips. After the initial biscuit firing they are glazed with a transparent glaze and fired again to approximately 1200˚ Centigrade.

Mugs and plates
can go into microwaves, dishwashers and ovens without problems.
Every piece is unique!
